Method Man & Redman - Appearances

Believe it or not, this compilation has been in the works for nearly a year now. Aaron first came up with the idea back in June of ’08. At the time, the talks of Blackout! 2 coming out definitely sparked an interest in diggin’ for this compilation, but I wanted to wait until a release date was finalized. Here we are, one year later, and it seems like the latest offering from Red and Mef will finally be seeing the light of day.

This compilation is to be played complimentary to both the first Blackout! album, as well as the How High OST. Basically, Appearances features (almost) all of the tracks in which Doc and Tical have collaborated on over the years – aside from the aforementioned albums. Over two and a half hours deep, spanning the length of two full discs, this release should get you riled up for the new album coming out next month. And just as yesterday was Redman’s birthday, and this coming Monday is 4/20, I’m sure there’s a whole bunch of people – stoners, let’s be honest – who’ll be bumping some Doc and Iron Lung. Well, here you have it! Method Man. Redman. Appearances. Hip Hop Is Read Exclusive. You know what it is… Enjoy… smoke sum’n… and turn it up!

  1. pretty good compilation. there was even a few nice ones I hadn't heard before.

    '' gza hater

  2. ^ Lucky for you, there were no GZA tracks, right? :D

    Glad you liked the mix.

  3. What? No "Pixie Rap"?!!?

Just kidding, I'm sure that had to have been impossible to come by, given your previous post on the Fairly Oddparents (which is actually a pretty funny show, I have to admit).

    Keep doing what you're doing,

  4. you know whats missing now that I think about it? that red & meth track with ugk. just came out too...something about getting torn up under the city lights....whatever that means.

  5. That track's gonna be on Blackout! 2.... Same with "Mrs. International".

  6. Could use a greatly appreciated re~up...
