Sample Set #15

Five years ago, I put together a sample set for Ironman, Ghostface Killah's solo debut album. If ever there was a time for a re-up, it's now. Here's a rundown of what's to come from Tony Starks in 2013:

New Ghostface album entitled Twelve Reasons to Die, produced and composed by Adrian Younge, and executive produced by the RZA. Dropping on RZA's Soul Temple Records, the album will be released on MP3, CD, vinyl and even cassette formats.

• To promote Twelve Reasons to Die, Soul Temple and Black Mask Studios have teamed up to produce a six-issue comic book series which will be collected as a graphic novel.

• A sequel to Ghostface's sophomore LP, Supreme Clientele, titled Supreme Clientele Presents... Blue & Cream: The Wally Era - hopefully dropping this year.

An announcement that Ghostface's project with MF DOOM, DOOMSTARKS, is back on the table. Release date is uncertain, but at least we know they're working on it.

• New, from Get On Down Records, a deluxe box set re-release of Ghostface's Ironman. Limited to 2,000 copies, it will included the re-mastered album on a 24k "audiophile gold disc" CD held in a "cherrywood trophy box", along with a hard-cover book and album cover puzzle set.

Oh, and let's not forget the latest entry in the oeuvre of Marvel Studios, the upcoming Iron Man 3. You done slept on Tony...
