This could have been an amazing track. ReplyDeletewhen i first heard love lockdown I was like :| here we go, then after the line "I thought no one knew I got no one new" i flipped on it, been bumping it the last 3 days.
At the start I was like sigh, ye be on some voice coder whack ass pop shit and he's failing hip-hop, then the artists in me realized after all his been through (lose of mother and fiance, the mans lost the two most prominent women in his life) that he is exploring different paths as an artists.
There more music than hip-hop, look at commons new joint, it's a little 'whack' but there are some killer lines and the whole biggy style is awesome. Then everyone goes ape saying his 'sold out' fuck that and fuck people with stagnate mindsets
