Political Cube is back! Though his 2006 album Laugh Now, Cry Later was a solid release with plenty of bangers, Raw Footage finds Ice Cube reverting to grittier, more grounded stylings. The atmosphere is still rugged and his lyrics still hit you right in the chest. Cube brings along a wide array of producers spanning across every corner of the map, from New York's Emile, ATL's DJ Toomp, Seattle's Tha Bizness and West coast staple DJ Crazy Toones. Cube kicks knowledge throughout the album; at the moment, I can't put down track #10, "Thank God".
