What a great way to wake up! I turned on my computer, opened up Google Reader, flipped through my feeds and what do I find at The Smoking Section? The State Prop' boys are back in full effect! As an ol' Roc-A-Fella aficionado (their music ruled my life from '01 to '04), I couldn't be more amped than this right now. Young Chris, B. Sigel are Freeweezy are here and they're 'Ready for War'! The great thing about this track is that it's reminiscent the mellow grooviness of previous Roc-classics, primarily the smooth 'Hypnotic' off of Memphis Bleek's underrated M.A.D.E.; ah, the good ol' days.
