Phat shouts to John Q of Lyrics to Go!
Digable Planets gets constant play over at my place due to their great fusion of hip hop and jazz: the two genres which I listen to the most. Their smooth vibes mixed with conscious lyrical content is what makes them such a driving force in the indie/alt. hip hop scene, even though they only dropped two albums in the 90's. This right here is the sample set for Blowout Comb, their second album (we're still working on Reachin'...). Enjoy the jazzy ride!

Thanks for the collabo. Until next set.
ReplyDeleteYou know I've been waiting for this since '94. I was way too lazy to go through all of my uncle's crates of records for these back then. I'll have to burn these for him now. Thanks
