Two closely affiliated emcees, both members of the Native Tongues, each with a unique rapping style. Busta Rhymes and Q-Tip go way back to 1992 with their first collaboration on record, "Scenario" with their respective groups, A Tribe Called Quest and the Leaders of the New School. Since then, they've both consistently made appearances on each others' records and appeared together on other artists' records. There's something about the way Busta's wild and energetic emceeing complements Tip's mellow, wise philosophizing.
So I wanted to capture that chemistry in a collection. Thanks to Ivan for the help with collecting the tracks and for creating the artwork.
