Inspired by a recent post by blog brethren Rizoh, I compiled a list of the albums which have received heavy praise and play down here at the Château de Ivan. Alternative and indie rock took over in the past few months or so, what can I say...

  2. How is that AZ, Ivan? Just picked it up, but haven't had the chance to listen to it yet. April's looking to be the month where the albums really start kicking off. This Monday I got the new R.E.M., AZ, The Black Keys, Gnarls Barkley and Estelle.

  6. the gnarls barkley album is so intense. cee-lo's voice is almost haunting.

    and i've had the hook from 'surprise' stuck in my head for about two weeks.

    going to see Lupe on 4/19. i hope he lives up to his rep and recorded work. anybody who raps about street fighter 2 is OK by me.
