Hey fellow readers of HHIR, I'm Bilal, a 20+ year old student in the UK with a passion for writing but more importantly a crazed obsession with hip-hop. You may wonder as to why & how I'm here. I'll break it down for ya;
I've been a huge fan of HHIR since the early days, reading the blog inspired me to create my own blog, therefore I reached out to Ivan to offer me some help and tips on maintaining a blog, who in turn offered me the chance to drop by HHIR once in a while & post here. Obviously I abandoned the whole idea of my own blog, and jumped on ship with Ivan and the HHIR dudes. Throughout my e-stay here I'll be taking you across the pond and bringing you an insight to UK hip-hop.
For my first post I would like to tell you about a mixtape from upcoming MC, Master 3. Chances are you've never heard of Master 3, but chances are you wanna hear a mixtape with the likes of Amy Winehouse, Sway, Lily Allen, Mike Skinner of The Streets, Kate Nash, Joss Stone, Radiohead & Gorillaz. You've probably never heard of some of them artists but that's the whole point of the mixtape, Master has cleverly only rapped a few bars on each song so that the UK artists are the main focus.
