Conventional Wisdom (Aug. 27th - Sept. 2nd)

Quotes of the week:

"Ask Prem' n***a, Fiddy don't back down"
- 50 Cent ...

"Fiddy told me go 'head switch the style up, and if they hate, then let them hate and watch the money pile up."
- Kanye (quoting 50? Brilliant! Now THAT'S what I call big pimpin')

Kanye:
...for all in all making a better album than Fiddy, albeit his worst to date (it's all according to my opinion folks...feel free to hurl your critiques at me.)

Nas:
...If you know the tune, sing along: na-na-na-na, na-na-na-na, Bill O'Reilly, is a douchebag. (and a "chump"!)

R. Kelly & Busta Rhymes:
...Trials delayed...Go figure...

Rolling Stone Magazine & The "Rivalry":
...By now I'm used to mainstream artists getting an infinitely greater amount of shine than others. No sh*t right? But by hyping up this "rivalry" that's really all about super-capitalism (EVIL!!!), it's only building a bigger ditch for commercial hip-hop (hmm...wait..maybe that's a good thing?). All in all, it represents hip-hop's "dark side" if you ask me...

Steve Jobs:
...On the plus side, he's releasing a new iPod tommorrow (and the day after that...). On the down side, it makes what you have utterly, COMPLETELY OBSOLETE. lol

Talib Kweli:
...For hitting the #2 spot on the charts... Hey! This is a big deal! It's the first time he's been in the top 10. Kudos to Kwe'. (BUY THE ALBUM!!!)
