Bashir Lies, Darfur Dies

I want to give you the first look at our new TV advertisement, which will begin airing tomorrow.

I think you will find the ad to be powerful. It points to years of Sudan's broken promises and empty agreements to the international community. All the while, the ad's images remind us that the people of Darfur continue to suffer - and that the death toll in the world's worst humanitarian crisis is still rising...

Sudan has "agreed" to peacekeepers several times but has always ended up breaking its word. That's why we must NOT simply congratulate ourselves on Sudan's most recent "agreement" to a hybrid African Union-UN peacekeeping force but must instead work to keep the pressure on Sudan to make good on its promise this time...

The best way to keep pressure on Sudan is by building our movement and demanding action. By passing on the video, you can help grow our cause and move world leaders to act.

From the first day I joined the Coalition, the dedication of our activists has never ceased to amaze me. Thanks for your commitment to bringing an end to this crisis - and peace to the people of Darfur.
