Rick Ross - Boss (Best of 2010)

I'd be remiss not to mention Rick Ross's name in my Best of 2010 series. Truthfully, I can't stand the guy; but there's no denying that he bullied his way through the rap game this year, asserting his presence by dropping two successful releases (The Albert Anastasia EP and Teflon Don) and hopping on any remix willing to carry his weight (or be carried by his weight, depending on how you look at it). The result of my year-long Ricky Rawls compiling is Boss, a five-hour-long romp highlighting the pseudo-gangsta rap (picture 'Pac rolling... in his grave) of a former correctional officer. Hey, whatever floats your boat! The cover art for Boss draws its inspiration from Blue Mitchell's 1966 LP Boss Horn (see what I did there? ... slideshow here). If you can stand five hours of Rick Ross I'm impressed... and bewildered. Either or, enjoy and turn it up!! (More Best of 2010 compilations coming sooooon!)
