Wu-Tang Clan - Mathematics Presents Return of the Wu & Friends | First Peek

Release Date: February 16, 2010
Label: Gold Dust Media

Back in 2007, when I reviewed Mathematics Presents Wu-Tang Clan & Friends – Unreleased for, I noted the absence of the main Clan members as a flaw. Return of the Wu & Friends is a follow-up of sorts to the Unreleased album, and from the tracklisting alone, you can be assured that this is a step in the right direction. Wu-Tang has been on fire lately! My personal bias notwithstanding, can I get a suuuu?

  1. looks dope. Mathematics produced the whole album?

  2. Yep. Here's the quote from the press release I received:

As devoted fans clamor and salivate for anything Wu-related, Gold Dust is proud to announce the Return of the Wu & Friends, produced and compiled by producer/ Wu affiliate Mathematics and featuring exclusive tracks, lost gems and new remixes from all nine emcees, including Ghostface, Raekwon, Method Man, RZA, GZA & more.

  3. its more a mixtape than anything most of the album is old songs

  4. I wouldn't really call it a mixtape.

  5. this isnt a good "album". everyone who knows wu-tang has most of these tracks already...a fan could hav easily put something like this together....

    1/5 stars

  6. Yo good looking on the love for my "All Flowers" video! PEACE
    Leeps from DotGotIt

  7. Just ripped this offa filestube and I'm glad I didn't pay for this garbage. Over half the songs were released by this clown on his earlier album (unfortunately I did pay for that one). And the "new" tracks (forgettable remixes of recycled verses)? Not even mediocre. Mathematics has truly solidified his role as the Assata Shakur/Suge Knight of the Wu-Tang legacy with this trainwreck. *deletes from harddrive and memory.
