but for real ivan, i watched this with my first grade students today--obama's speech, not olberman's commentary. when we discussed it after the fact, it was clear that they were reflecting on his message in a meaningful way. i invite any one of these folks from any of these news channels to come spend any amount of time in my classroom. they'd be surprised by what is being accomplished. things are changing regardless of whether these people want them to change.
