Members of the Native Tongues Posse, Black Sheep released their debut album A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing in 1991. A classic hip hop record, A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing never truly hit the mainstream as De La Soul and A Tribe Called Quest's albums did. It's a shame... But A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing is a classic nonetheless. Thankfully, it's enshrined in The Source's Top 100 Hip Hop Albums list. Rightfully so. This album had everything: including raunchy references and obscure, diverse and eccentric samples! Just peep the tracklisting below and you'll get a feel for what I'm talkin' about. Plenty of rare ish to go around, no doubt! Fourty-eight samples in all, this sample set packs some serious punch: it's four and a half hours long! This set was pretty tough to compile, so I really really hope you get into it and enjoy it! Turn it up!!!
