De La Soul - Stakes Is High [The Samples]



One of the illest albums of the mid-90's, Stakes Is High introduced many of us to some cat named Mos Def. The album itself was a gem with plenty of worthy cuts and tight production. As usual, lots of jazz influence on this one, with a few eccentric choices strewn together here and there. The Lyrics to Go/Hip Hop Is Read tradition continues with yet another classic joint effort for your aural pleasure (pause)! No, wait... PLAY! And... TURN IT UP!

    there is one sample missing 4 "sunshine". it's called "free angela" by bayete.
    There should be one upload in youtube. click on the song & skip over to 3:58 & there is the sample.
