Alvin Gentry and the Worst Analogy... EVER!

Prior to yesterday's game three showdown at the US Airways Center in Phoenix, Suns coach Alvin Gentry offered some rather, um, unusual words about trying to defend Kobe, Pau and the mighty, mighty Lakers:
It’s almost like being a dike, you stick a finger in one hole and water comes out of another one... We’ve just got to find a way to have a whole lot of fingers, I guess. [Source]
Whaaaaaaaa(t)? I've done my best to try to counter or critique these words with your run-of-the-mill smug, blogger-patented snarkiness -- especially as a Lakers fan -- but my mind takes me to strange, strange places as I attempt to unravel the many layers of Gentry's what-the-fuckedness. I stand in awe. Well played, sir. Well played.
