Lennon - A Beat Tape

A few days ago, I got an e-mail from this cat Lennon - a 17-year-old producer/emcee from CT. He just dropped a new beat tape called, simply, A Beat Tape. He lists Dilla, 9th Wonder and Ant as his influences. Let's see what he's got:

You can download the tape here. He's also got a few more projects from '08 and '09 lying around for some extra aural pleasure. :D

Emcees and artists who want to hit him up can do so via e-mail: mynameislennon@gmail.com

SEMI-RELATED HIP HOP IS READ ANNOUNCEMENT:

Producers and beat makers on the come-up who would like to contribute to an all-underground, all-instrumental edition of The Tape Deck -- I'd like to make this an ongoing thing if it catches on -- can holler at me through Twitter, e-mail (if you know it/can find it) or the site's Cbox. I'd like to hear what you've got and share it with Hip Hop Is Readers worldwide. No more than two tracks at a time. In addition to your music, I'll also be posting your contact info if you wish to share it -- I assume you will. Hopefully this'll open some doors and build bridges for producers and emcees to collab. Win-win, right? Make sure to bring the heat! One.
