Should I do it live?...fucking thing SUCKS!- Papa Bear
go for it...
can see no reason why not, open it up
I've hoped this would happen for some time, you got good taste in intreseting stuff. That been said, it shouldn't happen here. This is hiphopisread, not 'Ivans magical wonderland on all thing intresting'
Go for it Ivan - think your site is really good and you should embrace musical diversity as i think the lines between "genres" is now so blurred it would show a movement that coincides with the changes in music that are current today - good luck, Emile
you know i'm all for that.
there's already an opinon section, and a politics section, might as well add a few more.
"I've hoped this would happen for some time, you got good taste in interesting stuff" - MooseThat statement sums up how I feel. do it here. You are hip-hop so everything you do can be related back to the culture. pz
Conan tried to be the new oprah and now they wanna give his time slot back to leno.JkjkjkjkThat being said, go for it Ivan. Just try to stay neutral. Focus more on events instead of what pundits have to say about them cause sometimes I feel like I'm just reading a kid's opinions on the political posts. No offense intended. You got your music down man, so write about whatever you want.
in my opinion the site is perfect. it is a site that i came across as i was looking to sample information. it is great to know that i can find that info here. i love DITC and the soulful sundays idea is genius also. i am not into politics but i enjoy the stuff that is posted. i get enough politics here but not too much. if i was looking for more then i would not come to "hip hop" site for it, you know??? i enjoy the sports talk from time to time as well. it offers something different than hip hop but not too much of it. i enjoy the 24>23 debates but i am scared that if the site changes, then you will somehow get away from the many things that many of us frequent the site for. you do a really good job with the things that are offered and i know that you would do a great job with whatever is added. my fear is that the addition of new things will take away from the foundation. is there a possibility that another site be created? i obviously have no idea of what it takes to keep a site up and poppin... the tape deck is such a blessing. my favorite thing about the site is that you offer a different perspective from what me and my circle are used to.
werd, just creat another site with another title. repost the hiphop stuff here. if i wanna check the other stuff, i'll check on the other site. please don't co-mingle.i come here for a reason.
I thought you already had...
I'd prefer it stay hip hop-exclusive, but regardless I know you're gonna keep it a hunned I.
Yo man we initially all came here because of what YOU posted and we're still with you.Whatever direction u take, i'm with u. Just don't forget the Hip Hop!PS good looks on the Method Man book, lol
swing away (Merrill), swing away
Fuck yo blog. Not my words but Jay Elec's.No really, im sure you're gonna keep the standard up with new content. How about you try it and then everyone can feedback their thoughts. As long as it doesnt become a gossip site then im cool.
Hi Ivan,I think expanding on what you've already built here is a good idea. I think your audience is ready to see you branch out. Just don't travel out too far because the branches could snap on ya. Cheers!
do what you feel... is real... 4 real....... ya feel?
Man do it if you feel its right... just don't go too pop man, like if you're talkin bout us seein cunts like lady gaga and shit like that up in these pages you can count me out, we're bombarded with enough of that mainstream top 20 trash as it is...i'm even a believer in that R&B SHOULD"NT even be on the same shelf as hip hop, let along havin half these 'more tits than talent' tarts ruining songs by singin the hooks on what could've bin a good song... well you're at it, leave fags like lil wayne and the rest of the auto tune family out of it... nuff said...
Ivan do what you gotta do but don't stray too far from hip hop(no country BS)great site
Co-Sign with jaidey32. My feelings exactly.
Do it, fam. Man cannot live on hip hop alone and I'm always curious what other 'hip hop heads' listen to outside the genre and how its related (or not) to their taste in hip hop.
