Arrested Development - 3 Years, 5 Months & 2 Days in the Life Of... [The Samples]

They won two Grammy awards, one for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group and the other for Best New Artist. They were featured in Rolling Stone Magazine as Band of the Year. Nonetheless, I often reflect on the fact that Arrested Development has been one of if not the most overlooked group's in hip hop. Straight outta ATL, Georgia, Arrested Development introduced spiritual lyricism and rootsy production to the masses. Tracks like "Mr. Wendal" and "Tennessee" are classics in my book, the latter even earning a spot on The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll. So dropping a sample set on their behalf felt like a must. It's a bit short, but it's worth it. The "Tennessee" sample will drop outta nowhere on you, courtesy of The Purple One. Enjoy... and turn it up!!
