Apocalypse 91… The Enemy Strikes Black [The Samples]

James Brown. James Brown. James Brown. 'nuff said! (Don't worry, there's lot of other stuff too)... I'm not expecting most of you to download this, since most of the tracks have appeared on previous sets. This one's strictly for the picky completists, such as myself. Turn it up!!

  1. Wicked cool, but there's this one sample from the album that I just can't seem to ID...

At the very beginning of "Can't Truss It" there's this almost ambient chord sample that plays under the Richard Pryor "Bicentenial Nigger" sample/scratch ("it started with slave ships...."). I've been trying to ID and track this down and I haven't had any luck. Strangely, Ice Cube used the sample at the beginning of "The Funeral" from 1991's Death Certificate.

Ya got any ideas on this?
