First Peek: Diamond D - The Huge Hefner Chronicles

Diamond D's been puttin' in work since the late 80's. In my opinion, Diamond is one of the forgotten legends in the folklore of hip hop. Why is that? He put out classics for Fat Joe, KRS-One, Lord Finesse, Ras Kass, Xzibit ("BIRD'S EYE VIEW"!), The Fugees ("THE SCORE") and Brand Nubian ("PUNKS JUMP UP TO GET BEAT DOWN"!!!) -- just to name a few. And the BX production pro is back for the '08 with a new release titled The Huge Hefner Chronicles. Like I mentioned in The Tape Deck Volume 2, Diamond D's new material feels like it was transplanted out of the 90's. Full of smooth rhythms, hard drum loops and everything in between, Diamond D's new album should please the heads. Care to preview some of The Huge Hefner Chronicles?
