Digable Planets - Reachin' (A New Refutation of Time and Space) [The Samples]

This sample set has been a work in progress for the past two months or so. I kind of pushed it to the backseat for a while, but being that we recently dropped Blowout Comb's samples, the timing just couldn't be more perfect. In order to construct this set, I had to do a tiny bit of research to get some facts straight. Some sites out there (Wikipedia, The Breaks) listed a pair of tracks as 'sampled', when in fact they were in-studio collaborations. Digable's "Last of the Spiddyocks" was the track in question. It turns out that neither Alan Goldsher (bassist) nor Steven Bernstein (trumpeter) were sampled on the song, but were in fact personally involved with the recording process. I'd like to thank jazz-man Steven Bernstein (whom I contacted for assistance) for clarifying this issue (check him out at his website: StevenBernstein.net; and if you love jazz and live on the East coast, make sure to check out his schedule). With all that said, I'm proud to present to you the sample set to Digable Planets' widely acclaimed and wonderful debut album! Enjoy this jazzy ride through "time" and "space"!
